On a showery morning we walked inland at Reculver and then had a look at the sea. We counted 15 Chiffchaffs, 2 Goldcrests, 55 Gadwall, 16 Mallard, 6 Shoveler, 11 Little Grebes, 53 Coot, 18 Tufted Duck, 3 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Wigeon, 4 Teal, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Green Woodpeckers, 1 Blackcap, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 6 Goldfinches, 1 Gannet, 1 Wheatear, 2 Pied Wagtails and 17 Swallows feeding around the Towers.
