Willow Warbler

Today I received information about a Sedge Warbler that we controlled at Shuart on August 31st. It had been ringed at Slapton Ley, Devon on August 25th and had flown 364 km ENE.
A more upsetting record was of a Barn Owl that we ringed locally as a nestling on June 19th and was found dead at St Nicholas-at-Wade on September 3rd. Traffic on the Thanet Way regularly sees the unfortunate demise of our local Barn Owls.
