July 21st
The hot and humid air of the last few days had moved away overnight leaving a fresher feel to the weather as we walked from Reculver to Coldharbour this morning. With the tide out there was not a great deal new to be seen this morning just 3 Pied Wagtails, 1 Little Owl, 25 Cormorants, 6 Linnets, 7 Ringed Plovers, 1 Swift W, 4 Redshank, 7 Oystercatchers, 6 Little Egrets, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Turnstone, 1 Curlew, 3 Common Sandpipers and 30 Sand Martins.
