There was a more reasonable temperature this morning as we had a ringing session at Reculver. During the time we were there we saw 3 Cetti's Warblers, 34 Mallard, 3 Mute Swans, 3 Green Woodpeckers, 5 Jays, 3 Blackcaps, 4 Turtle Doves, 20 Sand Martins, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Siskins, 4 Chiffchaffs, 2 Shelduck, 1 Corn Bunting, 4 Teal, 1 Common Buzzard, 20 Reed Warblers, 2 Kestrels, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Grey Wagtail W, 6 Swifts W and 1 Greenshank.
Birds ringed 22: Chiffchaff 3, Wren 1, Reed Warbler 9, Blue Tit 1, Cetti's Warbler 1, Blackcap 1, Reed Bunting 1, Whitethroat 1, Dunnock 1, Blackbird 3.
