It was a beautiful, sunny, winter's morning as we walked from Chamber's Wall and along the seawall back to Shuart. We counted 13 Yellowhammers, 66 Corn Buntings, 1 Kestrel, 4 Gadwall, 17 Linnets, 2 Fieldfares, 25 Reed Buntings, 2 Great Crested Grebes, 4 Mallard, 2 Little Egrets, 1 Pied Wagtail, 45 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 4 Stonechats, 16 Redshank, 1 Sanderling, 55 Oystercatchers, 60 Common Scoter offshore, 15 Ringed Plovers, 1 Greylag Goose 1W, 1 Lapwing, 2 Common Buzzards, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Green Woodpecker and 1 Marsh Harrier.
