Although it was sunny this morning there was a cool, fresh W wind blowing as we walked from Minnis Bay to Plumpudding lagoon and counted 38 Redshank, 110 Oystercatchers, 112 Sanderling, 20 Turnstone, 1 Dunlin, 8 Goldfinches, 245 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 4 Corn Buntings, 1 Stonechat, 2 Curlews, 1 Little Egret, 51 Cormorants flying inland, 14 Ringed Plovers, 32 Grey Plovers, 48 Common Scoter and 21 Lapwings.
