There had been an overnight change in the weather as we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour this morning and it was cloudy with a brisk NW wind blowing. We counted 4 Whitethroats, 1 Blackcap, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 6 Linnets, 5 Oystercatchers, 6 Sandwich Terns, 5 Little Egrets, 3 adult Mediterranean Gulls E, 1 Gannet, 5 Mallard, 56 Carrion Crows, 1 Grey Heron and 1 Jay.

Derek Smith had also been out and between 0500 and 0800 had walked from Shuart to Plumpudding and Coldharbour recording, 7 Little Egrets, 1 Sparrowhawk E, 1 Hobby E, 1 Marsh Harrier, 3 Whimbrel, 1 Sandwich Tern, 3 Blackcaps, 5 Whitethroats, 4 Reed Warblers, 2 Sedge Warblers and 1 Cetti's Warbler.
