October 5th
On another sunny morning we walked from Chamber's Wall to the seawall and on to the Oyster Farm. Birds we saw included 3 Chiffchaffs, 2 Green Woodpeckers, 1 Golden Plover, 1 Lapwing, 12 Corn Buntings, 1 Snipe, 21 Linnets, 42 Goldfinches, 29 Reed Buntings, 3 Sandwich Terns, 2 Kestrels, 28 Meadow Pipits, 3 Oystercatchers, 9 Little Egrets, 10 Turnstone, 35 Carrion Crows, 21 Mallard, 3 Stonechats, 1 Grey Heron and 25 Skylarks.

Common Seal
Chris Tedder had a walk from Shuart to Reculver and recorded 8 Red-legged Partridges, 3 Grey Partridges, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Redwing, 2 Common Buzzards, 8 Chiffchaffs, 7 Sandwich Terns, 44 Oystercatchers, 18 Turnstone, 12 Ringed Plovers, 1 Grey Plover, 1 Curlew, 24 Redshank, 25 Meadow Pipits, 10 Skyarks, 1 Corn Bunting and 11 Stonechats. She also found 1 Clouded Yellow and 3 Wall Browns.
