This morning was overcast as we walked around the Shuart area and on to the sea. We counted 6 Blackcaps, 2 Chiffchaffs, 7 singing male Cetti's Warblers, 4 Whitethroats, 4 Mute Swans, 2 Common Buzzards, 13 Swallows W, 14 Reed Warblers, 3 Grey Herons, 2 Greylag Geese, 1 Marsh Harrier, 8 Sedge Warblers, 1 singing Nightingale, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, 1 Pied Wagtail, 1 immature male Eider, 2 Mallard, 1 Cuckoo and 2 Jays.
