On a glorious late summer morning we walked from Chamber's Wall to the Wantsum outflow. Birds we saw included 85 House Sparrows, 18 Whitethroats, 49 Linnets, 2 Green Woodpeckers, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, 15 Reed Warblers, 3 Willow Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Whinchats, 2 Green Sandpipers, 10 Yellow Wagtails, 2 Coot, 1 Redshank, 4 Sedge Warblers, 6 Sandwich Terns, 2 Oystercatchers, 1 Curlew, 3 Common Sandpipers, 14 Ringed Plovers, 2 Corn Buntings, 2 Little Egrets, 1 Turnstone, 2 Pied Wagtails and 5 Goldfinches.
