It was sunny and cold this morning as we walked from Reculver to Coldharbour and back. With the tide going out we counted 237 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 24 Redshank, 70 House Sparrows, 2 Grey Herons, 27 Ringed Plovers, 15 Turnstone, 5 Sanderling, 11 Mallard, 1 Marsh Harrier, 5 Oystercatchers, 18 Mallard, 5 Shelduck, 11 Goldfinches, 1 Little Egret, 1 Curlew, 6 Corn Buntings and 1 Common Buzzard.
