December 4th
On the third frosty and sunny morning in a row we walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and then along the seawall to the Oyster Farm. We counted 1 Kestrel, 23 Blackbirds, 13 Redwings, 19 Fieldfares, 18 Chaffinches, 1 ring-tailed Hen Harrier, 10 Mute Swans, 5 Coot, 1 Mistle Thrush, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 11 Skylarks, 1 Corn Bunting, 1 Marsh Harrier, 2 Stonechats, 10 Mallard, 13 Oystercatchers, 23 Redshank, 15 Turnstone, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 53 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 1 Shelduck, 1 Little Grebe, 5 Ringed Plovers, 1 Grey Heron and 1 Chiffchaff.
