On a damp morning we walked from Reculver to Coldharbour and back. We saw 321 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 4 Redshank, 6 Mute Swans, 250 Cormorants out on the sandbanks, 6 Turnstone, 11 Great Crested Grebes, 2 Stonechats, 1 Gannet, 12 Shelduck, 16 Mallard, 16 Ringed Plovers, 12 Reed Buntings, 2 Oystercatchers, 80 House Sparrows, 1 Yellowhammer, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 1 Golden Plover, 1 Little Egret, 1 Tree Sparrow, 20 Corn Buntings and 1 Kestrel.
