The sun was shining brightly and it was nice and warm this morning as we completed our walk and recorded 11 Whitethroats, 4 Blackcaps, 17 Reed Warblers, 1 Common Buzzard, 1 Garden Warbler, 2 Sedge Warblers, 6 Skylarks, 3 Reed Buntings, 6 Mute Swans, 3 Swallows, 7 Linnets, 3 Corn Buntings, 2 Mallard and 1 Sparrowhawk.

Marc Heath walked from Chamber's Wall to Reculver and back between 0500 and 0915. He saw 12 Blackcaps, 2 Cuckoos, 28 Whitethroats, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 1 Sparrowhawk, 4 Chiffchaffs, 20 Reed Warblers, 26 Sedge Warblers, 10 Cormorants, 3 Skylarks, 14 Reed Buntings, 4 Pheasants, 1 Kestrel, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Cetti's Warblers, 4 Swallows, 2 Grey Partrdges, 13 Shelduck, 4 Yellow Wagtails, 2 Swifts, 2 Shoveler, 5 Tufted Duck, 1 Greylag Goose, 6 Oystercatchers, 4 Meadow Pipits, 2 Ringed Plovers, 4 Turnstone, 2 Common Sandpipers, 4 Stonechats, 15 Linnets, 17 Corn Buntings, 1 Little Egrets, 2 Gadwall, 14 Mute Swans, 1 Common Tern and 1 Curlew.
