An hour spent at Reculver in the pouring rain this morning produced 140 Kittiwakes flying E, 1 Grey Plover, 6 Cormorants, 3 Common Gulls flying E, 1 Wigeon flying W and 1 Fulmar flying E.
Also this morning, Julian Perry saw a ring-tailed Hen Harrier fly across Reculver Drive towards Bishopstone.
Today I received information concerning a first year Sedge Warbler we ringed at Reculver on 28th August 2020. It was controlled at Tour aux Moutons, Donges, Loire-Atlantique, FRANCE on September 1st and had flown 508 km SSW.
