March 3rd

It was very misty and murky and the tide was going out as we walked from Reculver to Coldharbour this morning. Although visibility was a problem we did manage to see a couple of nice species and we recorded 3 Oystercatchers, 106 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, 22 Redshank, 9 Mallard, 1 Short-eared Owl, 2 Stonechats, 2 Snow Buntings, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Coot, 1 Corn Bunting, 1 Curlew, 6 Reed Buntings, 2 Turnstone and 3 Common Scoter flying E.
