October 8th
It was cooler this morning but the sun was still shining as we walked from Chamber's Wall to the Oyster Farm lagoons. We saw 20 Chaffinches, 2 Grey Herons, 6 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Green Woodpecker, 17 Chiffchaffs, 1 "eastern type" Lesser Whitethroat, 26 Goldfinches, 32 Reed Buntings, 2 Swallows W, 2 Corn Buntings, 3 Yellowhammers, 3 Stonechats, 21 Redshank, 27 Ringed Plovers, 3 Rock Pipits, 1 Kestrel, 2 Turnstone, 7 Coot and 5 Skylarks.
