On a breezier morning we had a walk at Reculver and then inland. We saw 2 Rock Pipits, 49 Linnets, 7 Chiffchaffs, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Kestrel, 1 Golden Plover, 1 Firecrest, 35 Mallard, 8 Tufted Duck, 47 Coot, 10 Little Grebes, 3 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Water Rail, 2 Common Buzzards, 7 Teal, 16 Goldfinches, 52 Gadwall, 8 Shoveler, 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers, 2 Goldcrests and 2 Swallows.
Matt walked from Chamber's Wall to Coldharbour and then Bishopstone and counted 6 Grey Herons, 1 Corn Bunting, 38 Chiffchaffs, 23 Robins, 4 Goldcrests, 1 Brambling, 8 Long-tailed Tits, 1 Marsh Harrier, 6 Rock Pipits, 4 Little Egrets, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Grey Plovers, 18 Stonechats, 1 Blackcap, 93 Mallard, 1 Kingfisher, 14 Swallows, 17 Skylarks, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Redwings and 1 Common Buzzard.
