We had a ringing session south of the railway this morning and saw 6 Long-tailed Tits, 3 Goldcrests, 34 Greylag Geese, 1 Grey Partridge, 65 Fieldfares W, 22 Redwings W, 4 Mute Swans, 5 Lesser Redpolls, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Stonechats, 1 Lapland Bunting, 2 Golden Plovers, 3 Yellowhammers, 25 Reed Buntings, 14 Skylarks, 5 Siskins W, 2 Kestrels and 14 Chaffinches.
Birds ringed 36: Wren 2, Reed Bunting 18, Robin 1, Stonechat 1, Chaffinch 1, Lesser Redpoll 1, Dunnock 2, Yellowhammer 1, Song Thrush 5, Blackbird 4.
